littlebitsofnice - a reply

Hello merry blogging world!

The creation of this blog came about when chatting with a colleague, lovely lady and first-time blogger, littlebitsofnice. Hers is a wonderful little haven where you can go to read about all the nice little things that occur in her day-to-day life (or at least the ones she wants to share with the faceless blogging world!).

It was decided on the spur of the moment that I would see if 'littlebitsofshit' was available. It was, and here I am!

I would like to make it clear, straight off, that I am no wizened and gnarly old cynic. I like to look on the brighter side of life as much as any woman, to find the little things that can make you smile and lighten the load of an average day. In fact I might even go so far as to say that I am cheerier than most! I'm ever-willing to be diverted by the invariably hilarious stories of workmates and friends, and I'm the first to giggle at odd little things I see on the street. Teenage girls who have obviously shared a bottle of hair dye, wearing matching Barbour jackets. Tramps strumming their guitar and singing songs to me, 'The Ballad of the Smiley Blonde Girl who Lent Me Her Lighter One Mid-Summer's Eve.'

With a mindframe of this nature therefore, a blog of this theme will be a distinct challenge. However, it is a new year, and if last year proved anything to me, it's that I'm surely capable of taking on a challenge and succeeding!

So . . . ladies and gentlemen, without further pomp (but some minor circumstance), allow me to present to you, the budding creation that is littlebitsofshit . . . the place where you can go to find out those things, little or large, that get my goat, piss me right off or are just downright SHIT.
